justmyluck
Up for sale is my 2000 VW GTI VR6. The car has 230k on the clock, but still runs like a champ. Just drove to Cincinnati and back last weekend. Tires are in great shape. The Good: New battery, plugs, wires, struts, front wheel bearings, and tensioner pulley. The Bad: 1 tear in the drivers seat, the seat warmers do not work, the A/C needs a recharge, and there is a little rust starting for form where the bottom corner of the door meets the body. 2 Sweet
Nobody? Is the price too high? Idk about the price, but that paint.....what is it, mustard gold? Cool car but that color is an eyesore. Idk what the hell VW was thinking
Geeto67
I think the color is rad. It's way better than the boring red, white, silver, or black everyone already has. It is called Futura Yellow. I think it's similar to what BMW used on the M3 at that time called Phoenix yellow. It was sort of popular for the time. As George Carlin once said - don't be so suburban. Nobody? Is the price too high? Nope just the mileage. And the fact it is a MK.4.
Farkas
As long as the chains and guides are in good shape, this thing has many happy miles left in it.
STEVE-O
Nobody? Is the price too high? does not matter what car people see a 16 year old car with almsota quarter million miles on it with no ac coming into summer time... Most consumers would probably be willing to spend closer to 1500 for a running car like that... VW forums is where you will get the most $$ for something like this, esp in that color lol
justmyluck
I am not a fan of the color as well, but it does make it easy to spot in a parking lot.
2 Sweet
Yeah I'm sure someone will like the color, just not me lol. That color alone would stop me from wanting to buy that car. Like Steve-O suggested, try VW forums. I don't think the asking price is too unreasonable
