BUYER BEWARE OR CAVEAT EMPTOR

All sales and purchase transactions found through Columbus Racing are done so with the understanding of BUYER BEWARE/CAVEAT EMPTOR.

The phrase caveat emptor arises from the fact that buyers often have less information about the good or service they are purchasing, while the seller has more information. Defects in the good or service may be hidden from the buyer, and only known to the seller. Thus, the buyer should beware.

It comes down to the fact that it is the buyer's responsibility to be informed and inspect all factors before completing the transaction. Columbus Racing takes no part in the transaction; as it is simply a means for members to communicate and has a non bias interest.

Members who sell items on Columbus racing are to do so with the utmost care to provide fellow members the best deal. This should include good communication, before and after the sale if needed. All private messages should be replied to to resolve any questions having to do with the transaction. Full disclosure of all information on the item for sale is needed.

*I've been wronged, what should I do?

If you feel your transaction was not on the up and up, you should exhaust all means to resolve this between you and the seller. If you need to take legal action, than that is on you. Please advise a Columbus Racing Admin, Super MOD, or MOD of the details of your transaction so we can track it. Repeat issues with the same seller will be reviewed, and the necessary action will be taken to ensure Columbus Racing members are not subject to continued poor sales practices.
