Geeto67
Thought I would post this here as there seem to be a few who follow MotoGP motorcycle racing. The Co-Oh Vinmoto Google group is having a MotoGP watching party for the season at Woodlands backyard for every Sunday there is a race on the schedule. Main race starts at 3:00pm on Sunday, Moto 3 and Moto 2 are the preceding hour so if you want to catch the Moto2 and MotoGP arrive at around 2:30. They will show it on the big projector TV which is just an awesome way to watch it. It's free to attend but you have to buy your own refreshments. It's a lot of fun to drink beer on a Sunday afternoon and be in a room with a bunch of people cheering for racing motorcycles. here is the season schedule: http://www.motogp.com/en/calendar From personal experience some guys like to hand around and watch indy car afterwards so there's that as well. Gergwheel1647545492
Hell yes, this is awesome!! I just got back from Texas Monday from watching the race! Great idea to setup a place to watch it. will they be open for the 2 and 3am races too? :gabe:
mustang302
This is pretty cool. Too bad it looks like it's supposed to rain sunday, or I would ride down!
Geeto67
Open to all but I want to make a correction: MotoGP "pregame" starts at 2:30 even though the race is at 3. Also last week had Moto2 and Moto3 before the GP but this week the TV schedule says they are at 7pm so it is probably best to show up for the big race. bdhill
Rossi has a shot at #10...wants to race through 2017. Marquez just chose the wrong tire, but Rossi is riding amazingly.
Gergwheel1647545492
Bringing this back from the dead! Anyone want to get together somewhere sunday morning at 730am and watch the race, and Rossi win this mother? Thinking Kegs and eggs type deal? Casino seems to be the only option that is open that early on a sunday.

I'll be watching...from somewhere in mexcio

I'll be watching...from somewhere in mexcio you never know, rossi has pulled some crazy things out of his ass. he won't sit back and let the championship get away from him. either way he will give it his all, but my fingers are crossed that his appeal goes through and he gets a legitimate shot at it
Gergwheel1647545492
http://www.motogp.com/en/news/2015/11/05/cas-dismiss-request-by-rossi/188894 Looks like he is starting from the back. I think he might even be able to pull it off. I will be rooting for Honda to have the 1 and 2 spots, then Lorenzo will have 3rd, so if Rossi can make it to 6th place he has the championship. I feel like that is doable!
Geeto67
is there a breakfast diner that has TVs with fox sports? Like a sunnystreet cafe or someplace like that?

I feel like that is doable! If Marquez continues on his current childish path he'll lay back to Lorenzo's benefit making Rossi's task that much more difficult. I don't think he'd be stupid to actually slow up and get in Rossi's way again, but he doesn't have to at this point he can graciously let Lorenzo through and just sit there and still have an effect on the big picture. I think Rossi could get to 5th or 6th depending on the pace of the Ducati's this weekend but anything beyond that is going to be a stretch. I'm not a Lorenzo fan, but the kid does deserve some credit. He's been riding like a man possessed the 2nd half of the season. My only issue is without the implied intervention of Marquez it wouldn't have been enough for him to win the championship.
AudiOn19s
It was sad to see Marquez run blocker again the whole race and not put a single move on Lorrnzo for the lead. Thought there was a glimmer of hope for Rossi with 2 to go when Pedroza caught the leaders. Only for Marquez to get aggressive with him. Rossi did what he could is what is is I guess. Its hard to say that MM was doing that when he has had a couple other races this year where he just waits till there are 4-6 laps left to make a move, then he puts on serious pressure. he has had enough DNF this year that he really needed to finish this race too. I was hoping and praying in those last 4 laps when MM, DP, and JL were fighting it out that someone would wreck, no dice though. that would have been a shitty way for Rossi to win anyways. Passing 18 people though isn't bad at all Also when you look at wins this year, i think Rossi had 4 and Lorenzo had 7, so based purely on that, I think the proper champion won. Either way, I'm glad Yamaha won it

Either way, I'm glad Yamaha won it Idk. Had Marquez made even one move for the lead I would have thought differently about the situation. He was much closer than he was on a lot of his half assed attempts on Rossi this year. I mean make a move and run wide and give it back and at least make it look like you are going to battle. The only time he did that was when Pedrosa snuck around him. If he wanted to support someone let your team mate go for the win. Lorenzo still wins the championship as long as Marquez is behind him. I won't take anything away from Lorenzo, but if you want the championship to go to the fastest guy then Marquez would have won it again. Gotta be there in every race and in all conditions. Lorenzo was pretty miserable in wet conditions this year blaming a fogged visor in one race and simply not managing in another then crashing in mixed conditions in a 3rd. He's fast but not as well rounded.
Gergwheel1647545492
Yea MM is hands down the fastest, but he is also willing to push his bike harder than anyone else, hence why he wrecks more. Shouldn't you be on the beach enjoying the "scenery"?
