Patterson
Control arms, diverter valve, timing belt service, charge pipes from intercooler to throttlebody.
Lauren
Even in service position replacing turbos is an engine out procedure. They are awesome cars but they need to be well sorted. Can you turn your own wrench? If not i would pass.
STEVE-O
Auto or stick? How many miles? Coolant leaks, oil leaks, blown turbo seals, control arms galore, wheels bearings,!oh and the Audi misfires as well are all known items to fail on these but if taken care of are very nice

EssFo
The 2.7T is one of the most problematic motors Audi has made in a long time. That car will nickle and dime you to death.
Geeesammy
Paging that dancy guy. He made a thread like this once.
6 Speed S4
If you plan on buying it I would take the motor out and re do all the seals/gaskets/turbos/t-belt water pump etc. get all maint. up to date. But being an auto I would swap it to 6 speed or not buy it at all.
6 Speed S4
I can do my own work but I don't want alot of problems always liked them but don't know to much about them Don't buy it then... at that mileage if it doesnt have all maint. history and you cant verify it on carfax then walk away. 1Quik7
The 2.7T is one of the most problematic motors Audi has made in a long time. That car will nickle and dime you to death. This. Either throw a huge wad of cash at it once and fix all known issues and poor Audi designs or it will erode away your bank account and take you to the brink of contemplating suicide. By far the most favorite car I've ever owned...thought about getting one again when an Avant came up for sale here in Cbus. Then again I had 10-12k set aside for upgrades/maintenance/reliability...kinda glad I didn't go that route.
