DOZZER
Here's a current project we are working on. Its a 2000 F350 2wd that was lowered we are making 4wd with quite a bit of lift. This is a pic of the lift mostly complete. I have to fabricate a few more brackets to complete the 05 suspension conversion. http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n247/BDOZZER/image_27_zpszea8r3lv.jpeg
Green Bastard
Truck looks pretty good, but why not just buy a 4x4 to start with?
STEVE-O
Truck looks pretty good, but why not just buy a 4x4 to start with? Where is the fun in that?
SRTurbo04
Truck looks pretty good, but why not just buy a 4x4 to start with? 2wd are typically a lot cheaper
DOZZER
Truck looks pretty good, but why not just buy a 4x4 to start with? He already had this truck and loves it. He did shop around for a 4x4 7.3. All the ones he found are either rotted out or people want a fortune for them.
Green Bastard
The diesel tax in the past couple years is insane, I just figured converting it wouldn't save you much, if any money over just buying one.

cstmg8
Cool project for sure. Does he have any motor work done? Did he buy a wrecked donor or something?
DOZZER
Cool project for sure. Does he have any motor work done? Did he buy a wrecked donor or something? No donor truck. The parts are source from salvage yards I deal with regularly, after market lift parts, and some I have had to make. It doesn't have any motor work done yet. There are some in the mix but depends on his budget.
