mrhobbz
Hey guys, dealing with some charging issues on my 06' mustang GT. It has been throwing codes for years about having a bad voltage regulator/diodes in the alternator. I haven't had any problems with it up until recently when I've been leaving it parked for month at a time. I put a new battery in it in September after the old one stopped holding a charge (battery was the OEM battery from 06). Car ran fine and battery seemed ok then I left it parked again for a few months. I've found a rebuild kit on the internets for $55 that comes with all the bearings and voltage regulator. I don't know much about alternators but I'm assuming the diodes are in the regulator and not separate right?
