A friend was good enough to let me borrow his garage/lift for 2 weeks while we did a little every night. Finally towed her back to my garage last night. As of right now, the motor and trans are in. Its a gen 1 sbc 383 stroker with th350 trans. Gonna start sorting out the wireing first and picking up the rest of the stuff i need.

pontiacfreak142
"2 weeks".... Looks good man. Lol, yea that was my fault. Realized i didnt have the engine mount brackets that attatch to the block, so had to wait on those to get here, then spent another couple days trying to figure out how they went on. Everything i was reading said the passenger side goes on like it would on an lt1 block, the drivers side was kinda goofy. Finally talked to someone who had actually done it and it took us all of maybe an hour and a half to have the motor in LOL
