Recommended Posts

This car needs finishing work. Listing to see what sort of interest there is, if any in it's current condition.

1997 Acura 2.2CL

Clean title in my name, VIN's on the car all match, no sketchy Honda bullshit

5 speed manual

192K on completely rust free Florida chassis

JDM F20B swap from JDM Midwest with paperwork for motor.

Lowering springs

Adjustable rear upper control arms

Adjustable front upper ball joints

P28 "Neptune" stand alone - I have no software to communicate with it

Wiring specialties harness

Innovate wide band

Stock exhaust with cat

Shift light in vent

17" wheels with new tires

Repainted spoiler less trunk lid

New head unit w/USB and front door speakers (not installed)

New RF lower ball joint

Ported upper intake

Variable intake runner delete w/ spacer

Fresh Honda MTF

Mobil1 engine oil

New battery (located in trunk)

Spare set of 17" wheels that need help

New upper and lower radiator hoses, new thermostat

New spark plugs

New intake manifold gaskets

New vacuum lines

Comes with spare, blown head gasket F20B motor. The intake manifold, distributer, and alternator are different because the motor I bought is newer than the one that I pulled from the car.

Cons:

Power steering delete w/ power steering rack, lines have been looped

No A/C

Previously a smoker car, have already done a lot of cleaning

Wiring near computer is a "nest" it's not presentable at all

Tint is poor quality, driver window has been replaced and not re-tinted

Temp gauge in/op

Wide band gauge in/op

Wandering idle/won't rev past 4K since I had the computer disconnected while I had the interior at. Was revving past 8K right when I had the motor in. NOW FIXED!

Front upper ball joints loose, have new ones that go with the car NOW FIXED!

Listen folks, the car still needs some work, I bought it blown motor to part it out and decided to put a motor in it and get it running. I have successfully done that. I'm not a Honda guy at all and it's at a good place to go to a new home to be finished. I will continue to fix things here and there on it, but I figured I would go ahead and list it now in case someone really wants it. The price will remain the same as I fix things although it is negotiable certainly.

Bump

Well, I have no option to edit the original post, so below is the update I have. Price remains the same.

Front upper ball joints have been installed. Alignment is happening this week. I believe I may have the idle issue resolved, but I am waiting on a part.

Also, I have sold the spare blown motor and spare 17" wheels.
