2 Sweet
I have a 1997 Park Avenue Ultra with dual climate control. The passenger has their own thermostat over on the passenger side of the dash. I noticed the passenger side would only have cold air coming out at all times. The rest of the HVAC system works fine, so I figured I just needed to replace the temperature actuator on the passenger side under the dash. Pretty common issue and an easy fix. Well unfortunately, replacing the actuator didn't fix it. I can physically twist the rod and adjust hot/cold, but the actuator won't do this when it's installed and plugged in. I took it apart and all the gears and everything inside look good, so I think it's ok. I don't think the actuator is getting power to it. Not sure what to do next. STEVE-O
I would guess these have the same issue the Grand Prix has with the climate control head itself, can you apply power with a probe to the actuator and see if all works correctly?
