wagner
It's all fun and games until the nitro motor goes dead lean and starts eating itself...

Geeto67
That was a lot of chocolate milk pouring out of that block after the pop. I saw that....talk about oiling the track. I don't know that fuel altereds run radiators so I guess it was oil and fuel mixing?
Richard Cranium
I saw that....talk about oiling the track. I don't know that fuel altereds run radiators so I guess it was oil and fuel mixing? Nope, that's just oil. They do get a fair amount of blow by on the rings, so I'm sure there is some fuel in that oil. I was told that the oil gets whipped into into a froth. If you drain that oil and let it sit in a pan it will go back to a more normal color. Buddy of mine has a AA fuel altered, he was looking for a small turkey fryer burner and pot. Some of the guys will heat the oil and evaporate the fuel out of it and then reuse it. I guess Nitro oil isn't cheap (not that anything at that level is).
