coltboostin
I wonder if the big boys already do this? I have never heard of this technique but it makes a lot of sense. http://dsportmag.com/the-tech/head-torque-plate-solutions-save-valves-and-improve-efficiency-in-high-power-applications/

Brandon
who needs valves with electric motors.
RC K9
interesting retort on dsmtuners. "The valve itself moves so much, doing a valve job with a torque plate won't fix the sealing issues."
KentStateTsi
You still take advice or anything seriously from tuners?
RC K9
You still take advice or anything seriously from tuners? Some of the old school guys on there actually helped me get my high compression motor figured out. So to answer your question, yes. There are a select few I take seriously. KentStateTsi
There are some ok part deals occasionally and some well documented build but much of the tech gets turned into a pissing match. Really wish the local page would come back.
craig71188
Wow tuners! The top Formula Ford engine builders have been doing this with 115-120 hp 1.6L motors for decades to get better HP on these spec engines. These guys act like they've discovered the wheel!
