Outdoor cars in the bitter cold?

I just checked the Colt which is outside while I build shelves in the garage and its a slushy in the radiator. We're at Defcon 2

Lmao I forgot to put coolant in the supra earlier this year. Realized it on the way over, checked my coolant temp sensor output via laptop, said 23*, said fuck it, drained a gallon of water and put a gallon of coolant in it. Let it run for an hour and it was fine.

Hard when the car does not want to start on E85 and a dead battery :dumb:

Galant was the same! A real -10 that we may get may have seriously cracked a block/cylinder.

Colt is not back in the garage to thaw out. Should be OK

Galant fired right up on old E50. The Radiator was already almost frozen! I let the motor warm the block and I manually heated the radiator with a torch. Added 3/4 Gallon of 100% coolant. Made sure the heat was hot int he cabin and called it good. Back under the cover for winter she goes. Should be good to the deep freeze in a few days now.
