BBQdDude
<edit> soooo, I made this post below: Got it sorted. Hinder Honda in Heath, $20 total. Well I went last night. Checked in and asked the price prior to them starting work. Nope $89.00 total. So I left. Guess I need a recomend still other than walmart. </edit> NTB wants $20 per tire to balance. Who on the east side gives better prices. Car: 21009 honda civic Edited January 26, 2018 by BBQdDude
STEVE-O
Wtf that is probably mount and balance, I believe Walmart will balance for like $5 a tire But that might be some future Car that no one knows about yet
Red Beard
But that might be some future Car that no one knows about yet lol by that time cars will either be tire free or will be non-existent. I am in for who can balance for cheap as well.
BBQdDude
Wtf that is probably mount and balance, I believe Walmart will balance for like $5 a tire I made sure to tell them they were already on the car. Said the same price again.
Red Beard
I just don't trust walmart techs to pick up my car without scratching the shit out of the side effects. Anyone have a different opinion on this?
iwashmycar
Forget about the side skirts....they will all just absolutely fuck the wheels. Went to 3 places around me (NTBs and Goodyear), two who fucked up my wheels before just taking them to Derek. Not only did his guys not fuck up my wheels any more, but they were able to balance the damned things. Granted a 21009 Civic it probably doesn't matter much...but if its something you care about beware of the wrench monkey places.
Red Beard
Are you referring to them fucking up the wheel as in chipping the side or beating the surfaces around the lug nuts?

iwashmycar
Are you referring to them fucking up the wheel as in chipping the side or beating the surfaces around the lug nuts? both. like they zipped the lugs out which put gouges around the lug holes then it must have taken off along the machined face of the wheel some. Totally unacceptable.
Red Beard
Ya I'd be pissed. Anything you can do to claim it on them?
iwashmycar
At this point its in the past. From their end I have no proof technically. I should always take before pics I think.
Red Beard
You have to anymore, regardless of where you go sadly. Plus date/time stamp them. I miss having access to the machines myself that way I know if it gets fucked up its my fault.
BIGGU
Toyota direct did that on my 4runner wheels. They bought me a new set of wheels after it.
