Lauren Posted June 10, 2018 Report Share Posted June 10, 2018 I bought a Audi TT 225 quattro 6 speed manual about a month ago. It made a really High pitch squeal whirling sound when I went to see it. Motor sounded healthy but something sounded off. I didn't run it long and towed it home. After I got it home it never did start again. I could turn the crank but the flywheel didnt spin, and I could spin the flywheel but the crank never turned. I knew I was in for a treat I jisted didn't expect this. Finally found time to tear into it. Here's what I found. So should I extract the broken bolts and slap a new flywheel and ARP hardware and call it a day or should I get a new bottom end?
