Strictly Street
Update: Problem solved with some silicone sealer. I swear that and duct tape _is_ a tool box!(I'm talking about a 1980 Kawasaki)The happy owner before me put some way cool yellow "High Performance 8.5mm" spark plug wires and new rubber weather-proof boots that fit on the coils of my bike. Of course the original 8.0mm wire screw on retainers didn't fit so they threw them away. Make it work with less parts, right? Of course they were crap and arced everywhere. So I replaced them with 8.0mm wires. From NAPA of all places as single lead wires - read from the coil to the distributor on a car - $20.00 and down the road! But after about 1000 mi they worked loose and to make a long story short it ran poorly. I have tightened the wires up but with only the poor fitting little rubber boots holding them in I don't expect this to last long.Any ideas on how to hold the wires securely in place? Kawasaki does not seem to sell these as separate items. Might they be the same size for Honda, Suzuki etc?
