I don't care a lot if the screen is scratched, I do care a lot about long battery life. This is going to sit in my jacket all the time.As far as price goes, please bear in mind that a new 8GB Nano sells for $150. Battery life on the new Nano's are 24 hours audio, I just don't need all the new stuff they put in them like accelerometers and the like.
