Casper
Anyone have a portable XM player? If so, would you be willing to bring it to the meet and greet on Sunday (August 9th)?
SAMBUSA
What do you need it for? I've got one but it's not connected.
Casper
I've been trying to get blues for the meet and greet. It'll just be a lot easier if we have a portable XM player. There are a few blues stations on there that kick ass.
jagr
I have 2. It won't be a problem. As long as we can hook them into TRabbits set up.

It'll plug into the XM player. No laptop needed.

jagr
Yeah they have alot of adds on channel 20 and 21. But I don't rock those ever. The rest have some but not much. Mostly DJ chatter. If we can't make this work I'll wipe out the blues section at the library or halfprice books.

jagr
XM is Not gonna work with the DJ set up. We will figure something out.
Casper
XM is Not gonna work with the DJ set up. We will figure something out.It will work quite easily actually. The sub has two XLR inputs, one for each channel. They are standard 48k Ohm inputs:This cable would plug into the XM player's headphone jack:Then two of these cables would plug into the female rca jacks of the adapter cable, and each run to the sub/amp:I'd be more than happy to run to Radio Shack after work and pick up the RCA to XLR adapters. I already have a 2.5mm to RCA adapter.
jagr
http://www.infinitecables.com/pop/images_lg/cable_lg/av_35mm-rcafe.jpgIight have one or two of these already. I'll checkafter work. I also about 4+ hours of blues. I can score some more too. Including a 75 song set from Sun Records. It's like their greatest hits. If you saw the movie Cadillac Man, that was Sun Records. Just figured the XM thing would work the best. That way someone else has already put together a playlist and there'd be some variety.
