Casper Posted August 19, 2009 Report Share Posted August 19, 2009 Man Shot With Taser Catches Fire Tuesday, August 18, 2009 6:29 PM LANCASTER, Ohio — A man who allegedly resisted arrest was in custody Tuesday after being shot with a Taser and catching on fire. According to police, officers were called to Memorial Drive on Monday night after receiving reports that a man was inhaling from an aerosol can and running through traffic. An officer arrived at the scene and tackled the man, who was later identified as Daniel Wood. A second officer shot Wood, 31, with a Taser while they struggled on the ground. The officer then put out flames that ignited on Wood's shirt.
