ninjagirl219 Posted August 17, 2007 Report Share Posted August 17, 2007 AMA RACERS AUTOGRAPH RAFFLE SCOOTER FOR A CAUSEFor just $5 it can make a perfect pit bike or inexpensive mode of transportation Reynoldsburg, Ohio (August 16, 2007) - As part of the Women's Sportbike Rally slated for next weekend, August 24-26, in the Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina, a scooter will be raffled off with all the proceeds being donated to the Tiffany Weirbach "Sportbikegirl" Melanoma Foundation. Winner does not need to be present. The TGB Laser R5 49cc 2-stroke scooter, donated by Cobra Powersports of Georgia, was seen zipping around the AMA paddock at the Mid-Ohio AMA Superbike round, August 3, seeking autographs from the nations top road racers. We were met with great support from the racers who took a moment of their time to sign the little machine. Riders such as all the Hayden's including Nicky who was in town watching his brothers, Ben and Eric Bostrom, Mat Mladin, Kevin Schwantz, Josh Hayes, Jamie Hacking and more. Tickets are a mere $5 for one or $20 for five and you need not be present to win.This unique scooter will make a great addition to any home whether it will be used for transportation to save gas or your pit bike at the race track. The drawing will take place on the evening of Saturday, August 25 and the winner will be notified by phone if not present. All tickets must be purchased no later than Friday, August 24.
