31rx7
I am in the market for a two wheeler to use primarily as a pit bike. My trailer was broken in to, and my old pit bike was stolen. I have since found a more secure location to store my race car trailer. I am interested in anything ranging from a basic mini-bike to a scooter to a small (100cc) motorcycle. The primary requirements are that it be small, light, and in good mechanical condition. Appearance is of lesser importance. It would be nice if it could be licensed. I would prefer to only spend a $200 or so for a basic mini-bike, but may spend up to $1000 for a small motorcycle or scooter with a title that can be licensed. Anything from your basic centrifigal clutch B&S powered ride to a Honda Spree to a ST-90 to a Passport to a CT-70 to a CB100 (note the fondness for Honda's). No projects; I want something that is pretty much turnkey. I need to be able to hop on and ride with little effort or thought. This will be vehicle number 8 in our household, and while receiving the least use, it will also have the lowest priority in terms of repair. It will, however, receive good maintenance; it's just that when it breaks it will sit until I get caught up on everything else! As an aside, I have an affinity for older / vintage bikes. My road bike is a '75 CB750. Of course I am looking for a good value. In other words, I am a cheapskate! Let me know what you have. I want to purchase something by the end of the month. Cash in hand, ready to go.
