Gump
You know the plastic grids or "trim" that sandwiches the glass in a steel french door. You can have a open view or the fake grids....Where the heck can you buy replacements and what do you actually call them..The guys at Manards were brain dead about the topic. Even with there own doors? My dogs shredded the outside of the grids and i'd rather have the clearview.(open glass) so they can't shred it again. cmh_sprint
I would check the manufacturer's website or call them to find out. They may or may not make replacements depending on the age if the door. I have found that no matter what store you go to ( Lowes, Home Depot, Menards) most of the associates have no idea about the products they sell. This amazes me since they only work in 1 area. The interweb is the best tool for home improvement any more. Good luck!
oldschoolsdime92
Im with sprint, typically the manufacturer will have them. Once in a blue moon if you go to home depot/lowes/menards, they may have a returned door with peices they would sell, but thats very far and few inbetween. cmoosego
do a local search for door and window repair in your area... those companies would know where to source such items.
Gump
I talked to local door company and they found it. It's a special order only deal. I just give them the measurements. Thanks
