Honda Express II 1979 (NA50) Excellent Condition Runs Great (Powell) $650

Honda Express II 1979 (NA50) second year for this model production (last year was 1984). This bike was designed to enter the large market for scooters that developed following the 1973 oil crisis. As such it has a fuel efficient single cylinder two-stroke engine. It was also designed to be simple to operate, as many owners would be inexperienced with, or intimidated by, larger, more complex motorcycles. Honda accomplished this by using a fully automatic transmission and a small oil pump to self mix the Express's oil and fuel, thus eliminating the need for premixing. This bike has an air colled 49cc 2-stroke engine. This model has a manual choke, points ignition, and the early spring wound foot starter. This is the Express II featureing a redesigned frame and larger seat.

This bike starts and runs great (carburetor has been cleaned and rebuilt with all new gaskets) and all features work as new. This bike would be excellent transportation when the gas prices sky rocket again. This bike has a title and is registered as a motorcycle and street legal. This bike has somewhat of a collector following and is an excellent example and may be of interest to a collector. Included in the sale are the two rear white baskets.
