Up for sale is my 2003 100th anniversary Harley Davidson Heritage Springer. This is the last year of the Heritage Springer. I bought this bike in the fall of 2008 with 19000 miles. The entire motorcycle has been completely reworked. The bike now has 300 miles since rebuild. The engine was completely rebuilt into a 96 cubic inch Twin Cam Softail "B" motor.@ H/D OEM@motor cases, heads and cylinders are finished in fine textured black, heads and cylinders have polished fins.@@Lifter covers and cam chest cover are OEM H/D chromed.@ Rocker box housings and covers are chromed T P Engineering with integral rocker arm shaft supports.@

Cases are complete with H/D 100th anniversary logo affixed to the left hand case.@ All case bolts have been checked for thread integrity and all are in excellent condition. Left case has been modified by Dark Horse Crank Works for Timken@roller bearings and right case has latest version H/D straight roller bearings installed.@ Cam chest has been machined for additional clearance to permit the use of cams with up to .650" lift.@ New full compliment inboard cam bearings are installed.@ Studs with ARP 12 point nuts are used in ring doweled cam plate mounting holes to prevent stripped threads when torque to maximum value.

Flywheel assembly is low mileage forged H/D that has been trued to less than .0015" TIR on sprocket shaft bearing and .001" on pinion shaft bearing.@ Connecting pin has been plugged and pin TIG welded to prevent shifting of wheels and loss of alignment.@ Flywheel work was performed by Revolution Performance. @Flywheel endplay was set at .0015".@ Connecting rods have new bronze bushings that are reamed and honed to fit the hardened .927" wrist pins.

Balancer assembly has been completely rebuilt.@ New inner and outer bearings, new chain guides and new piston tensioner assemblies.@ Bearing housings were installed with new mounting bolts.@ Correct spacers were installed to provide proper sprocket alignment between flywheel and balancer sprockets.

Cases are sealed with Tite bond 1104 and Diamond Engineering polished stainless steel twelve point bolts with polished washer ensure leak proof assembly.@ New "O" rings, seals and filter screen for balancer tensioners were installed at build.

Valve train features the following components. H/D Screamin Eagle billet cam plate and high volume oil pump.@ Woods carburetor's TW6G H geared cams with S&S gears.@ New SKF@outer cam bearings, H/D Screamin Eagle tapered adjustable pushrods, H/D chromed pushrod covers,@S&S hydraulic lifters with limiters, new "O" rings and gaskets.@ Cam chest and lifter covers are secured in place with Diamond Engineering polished stainless steel 12 point bolts, torqued to correct specifications.@

Cylinders are H/D seasoned low mileage, they have been precision bored, honed and fitted to the J E forged dome hi-compression, big bore 3.875" pistons.@ Quench/squish has been set to .032" with Cometic MLS gaskets installed.@ Static compression is 10.45:1.@ Cylinders are fastened to the cases with H/D Screamin Eagle high tensile strength studs and new head bolts, outer bolts are chrome plated.

Cylinder heads are H/D black with hi-lighted fins.@ They have been ported and polished.@ Intake valves are oversize 1.900"@ Kibblewhite "Black Diamond", exhausts are 1.575" Kibblewhite "Black Diamond".@ Valve guides are AV&V manganese bronze with viton stem seals.@ Heads have been decked and chamber volume is 83 ccs.@ Spring package is Kibblewhite setup for .600" lift with Kibblewhite locks and titanium retainers.@ Rocker arms are S&S forged with roller tips and extended length fulcrum bushings with S&S shafts.@ Heads are drilled and tapped for compression releases which are included.@ Heads flow 228 CFM on intake and 172 CFM on exhausts at 28" of water.@ Cometic copper exhaust flange gaskets. Engine work performed by Steinhar of Chesterfield, Virginia.

Bolted up to the engine is a new 2003 5 speed softail transmission with a new transmission pulley and drive belt. New softail shocks, new crank position sensor, new stator, new regulator, new coil, new starter, newer primary to secondary chain and sprockets with newer clutch assembly. Engine has manual decompression on each cylinder. New white wall tires on Harley spoke wheels with new wheel bearings. This bike has most of the 100 year treatments. Windshield, engine cases, derby cover, air cleaner cover, grips pegs and back rest are 100 year parts. Tank and fenders are the limited edition 40fs paint scheme. All brand new. Harley Davidson wide beach bars with internal wiring. Exhaust is stock head pipes with Screamin Eagle 1 slip ons with accessory shark fin tips. This bike includes the removable windshield, rear back rest and carrier, solo rack, and rear passenger grab rail, Heritage Springer saddlebags and rear crash bars. I have all receipts. All parts are Harley Davidson except the power commander 3. Bike was checked out and dyno tuned by Western Reserve Harley of Mentor Ohio. Bike was tuned at 80% load and throttle. Thanks for looking.
