Craigslist Posted February 18, 2010 Report Share Posted February 18, 2010 Bike is in good shape for the year , 1992 wr500 . If you never heard of the wr500 , they only made them for two years . It is a yz490 air cooled 2 stroke motor on a yz250 frame , very powerful. The top end has just been rebuilt with a wiseco prolite piston ( .30 cylinder done by pr racing )and all new gaskets, It's been started to start break in. Many New parts : crank seals , fork oil and seals , front sprocket and seal , chain, rollers , rear tire , new tubes front and rear , handle bars and grips , seat cover , uni air filter , and brand new fmf turbine with spark arrestor silencer . Carb and reeds have just been cleaned , fresh gas in tank . Ready to go . Gas tank is alittle yellow in spots but plastics are in good shape , headlight does work. Shifts through all gears great and clutch feels great , would make a great trail bike , dunes , or even mx .Also have a couple of new parts that go with it , Only reason i am selling is because i got another bike.
