It expires this month however. renewal would cost a little over $500 for 24 months additional coverage. From what I can tell, there is no deductible, and it looks like a bumper to bumper warranty) no normal wear/tear, maint items, etc)Anyone have this? Find it worth it? NinjaNick Posted June 7, 2010 Report Share Posted June 7, 2010 I never get these because I don't like keeping it stock for long and aftermarket stuff voids warranty unless your best friend is the mechanic and doesn't mention it to Kawasaki what you have put on your bike. Kosmo Posted June 7, 2010 Report Share Posted June 7, 2010 I always declined it...if you maintain your bike there is a very less chance that it will have issues that the protection will cover. Chances of dumping the bike is more than protection plan issues, insurance is more to me than the protection plan. If you race the bike protection plan does not cover it. Stock so far.Kind of caught my attention as I was looking up parts (and saw the warranty), as I spent last weekend troubleshooting a "FI" light. From what I can tell so far, it has a bad exhaust valve actuator/sensor. (Open circuit when checking resistance) I imagine it would be expensive if I had Kawi fix it, but I did find some used ones on Ebay for about $50.
