FranknStein
Hey OR, I just came into a 1982 650 Seca. Some very minor cosmetic attention and some carb adjusting and this will be one hell of a bike. I will post pictures soon, and this thing is one of the cleanest classics I have come across. Just posting now to gauge interest.

He replaced everything that had the word seal in it's name and the thing runs like a new bike. Have fun bringing it back!

Had an '83 XJ750. Blew a piston on it...wish I had a garage and enough mechanical prowess at the time to take a crack at fixing it.
FranknStein
Yeah, I have an 83 750 myself. The Seca runs very well but only on starter fluid, I will pursue a carb job soon but really just don't have the time.

FranknStein
Alright folks, heading towards the end of the season so $600 OBO if anyone wants a killer winter project this is it. I gotz me a government job now and they barely give me time to scratch myself let alone work on this. Truly a nice bike.

Ryan_c_F
i'll trade you a VF1100S for it straight up lolzand then use the seca to flee from you when you find out how much work the sabre needs
redkow97
put it on craigslist for $1200 and I bet you'll get $800 for it.that thing looks great for its age. I'd love to pick it up, but I barely ride the bikes I have...
FranknStein
I would part it out but it is so nice for its age it just feels dirty to me. $500 is low for the price, but I really am not in it for the money I started a great job with the city and my time is now very limited so I just want to see it put to good use rather than rot in my garage. dorifto240
If you can hold onto it: I'd wait until the first nice day of spring, then put it in your front yard "For Sale, $1500 obo" Bet you'll make a thousand easy.
FranknStein
If it doesn't sell in the next week or so that might be what I'll end up doing.
