SpeedTriple44444
I don't have those, but I do have similar Alpinestars, and I've really liked them. They have a zipper and velcro instead of the latches. The latches look to be superior. The velcro wears out. They are the first pair of motorcycle boots I've owned, so I don't have any comparison. So basically, I just wasted your time with my uninformed opinion.

alienpi
They look pretty. I also have Alpinestars boots, but not this particular model.
swingset
I looked hard at them, but wasn't super impressed with the protection in the ankle. If I'm gonna go full mid-calf offroad style boot, better be some side protection as I figure crushing or twisting is likely what i'm trying to protect against in choosing that style.I ended up with the Fox Comp5 shorty...all the benefits of a full MX boot, but shorter and more comfortable...and the Fox is very easy to walk or articulate your foot in. Nice price, too.
