chevysoldier
According to the Vinton County Sheriff's Office, a call was received at 8:18 p.m. Tuesday from a female homeowner on U.S. 50 west of McArthur reporting an SUV had struck a guard rail in front of the home and her husband was going outside to check out the situation. Two minutes later, she called back frantic and said the man involved in the crash had broken into their home and was attacking her husband.http://www.chillicothegazette.com/article/20110210/NEWS01/102100309/Crash-becomes-alleged-assault-homeowner?odyssey=tab|topnews|text|FRONTPAGEThis is why you should not believe that your home is a magical place that protects you from harm or danger. This man was trying to help someone out and the tables turned on him very quickly.
Disclaimer
I love how they save what most people already probably knew for the end of the article --"Johnston allegedly was high on methamphetamines at the time of the incident"I just wish he would've gotten some rehab... courtesy of Springfield, Ruger, or Smith and Wesson.
