El capitan
my wife bought me a pair of sidi vertigo's for my birthday. they fit the width of my foot perfectly. problem is that my heels slide up when i step. should i send em back and try a .5 size smaller. or will they get better once they break in?they don't feel like they are big, they fit like my tennis shoes, just my heels slide in them.what do you think? ReconRat
Speaking as a guy whose Dad used to sell shoes (owned a shoe store)... You might have a narrow heel. If so, there are heel pads that can be stuck in to tighten it up. Typical with boots. Make sure that your foot isn't sliding front and back though, that would be the wrong length size.
