Fonzie
Played around w/ GoogleMaps a bit tonight. Put together a tentative route, w/ stop at Tony's I-75 for lunch/dinner, then over the Zilwaukee Bridge & up around the thumb alongside Lake Huron on Rte 25/Lakeshore Rd. Put U of M in there too, as I've been wantin' to get pix of Tigger by the Big House, but I'll probably just do that by myself later onI guess we could do it in reverse too, now that I think about it, that way we were riding alongside the lake at peak sun time & not messin' around with Detroit after dark. Plus those sandwiches at Tony's look gynormous.....Not sure I'll fit on the bike after I try & tackle that BLT!! Leave the slabbin' for later, when we may be gettin' tired & ready to get home'Nother wrinkle could be crossin' the border in Sarnia & takin' the DTC international BABEEE!! Drop straight down & pick up that 401, then come back to the U.S, & looks like we'd bypass Detroit just to the south as an added benefit. Not sure how long it takes to get, or how much those passport cards are. I think Jase had posted some info about them in another thread I sawAnyways.....Here's a link to that map I was messin' with. Yell at me if it doesn't work right. It didn't calculate mileage/time for me. Not sure where I need to go/what I need to click for that option, so I get an idea if this is too unweildly or not. Kinda ironic if you think about it.....The Fonz ridin' the thumb http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&ll=42.972502,-83.100586&spn=3.842301,7.075195&z=7&msid=114202522909555446597.000464e5e1395533fecef

Fonzie
Orrrrr.....We could just say screw it....Take care of unfinished business from 2 years ago, and ride all the way around the state. Make it the anniversary trip on the June 13-14th weekend. Get those pictures I wanted, next to the 45th parallel signs & that HUGE Paul Bunyon statue, take everyone who wants to over the Big Mac...TWICE , & finally ride the western shore/Sleeping Bear Dunes, Tunnel of Trees, etc
Fonzie
Here's the original seed that grew into this idea.........Found another place for us to go eat too  Saw this place on Food Network last night......Tony's I-75, up in Birch Run, MI....Between Flint & Saginaw. They have the biggest BLT, cheese fries, turkey club, etc I've ever seen. Each sandwich has a pound of bacon.....Said they go through 10,000lbs of bacon.....PER WEEK!!! Maybe hit there for lunch, then come back down via Lake St. Clair/Erie?? Headin' the rest of the way up & around the thumb on 25 looks like it'd be a scenic ride too, + we could work the Zilwaukee Bridge in. Be kinda cool to ride the bikes over that big boy....though I'm not sure we'd be able to see over the wallsReally cool ride would be to head over to Lake Michigan after lunch, & come down the west coast, but I don't think we could squeeze all that into a dayHere's a vid of the BLT I was talkin' about........... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6u6zw6RyzjQ [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtEzRTBRC_c]YouTube - Tony's I-75 Birch Run Michigan>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6u6zw6RyzjQ
