Apple products are only as limited as you leave them...you want more, then jailbreak that bitch. My view of the whole Mac vs. PC is that PC= Awesome for harcore gaming!! Mac/iOS devices= Good for everyday computing. I am not an Apple fanboy either because aside from my iPad and slew of iPods...I use a PC. Android just isn't my preference over iOS.
