RidersDiscount
Akrapovič has finally released their Racing Line full exhaust system for Triumph Daytona 675 motorcycles! And, for those of you who already purchased an Akrapovič Triumph 675 slip-on exhaust, we also have an upgrade kit available that replaces the remaining OEM exhaust on your 675 so you don’t need to purchase a full system!Akrapovič full system exhausts for the Triumph Daytona 675 weigh approximately 6.5lbs less than stock, with most of that weight being eliminated high up under the seat where it will be noticed most. To reduce complexity and maximize engine performance, there is no provision for either, a catalytic convertor or an exhaust flapper valve. As a result, on Akrapovič’s own in-house SuperFlow dynamometer, using an unmapped ECU, the Racing Line full system yields an additional 5.1 horsepower at 13,100 RPM. Torque is also looked after with a boost from 6,500 RPM all the way up to red line. And, while these gains may look modest, these numbers were obtained using a bike with no other tuning modifications at all! A competent tuner would likely be able to provide additional power improvements.Akrapovič is the preferred exhaust supplier for many of the world’s top racing teams at both domestic and international levels. We also fit them on many of our own bikes because they perform flawlessly, go on without issue and sound fantastic.Currently, supply is extremely limited: only a few full systems and header kits are available at this time! For more information, call Mike at 866.931.6644 x 804 or send an email to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM with AKRAPOVIC 675 EXHAUST SYSTEM in the subject line and we’ll get back to you right away. Remember, we have entire Akrapovič 675 exhaust systems or header kits for those of you that already have a slip-on exhaust from Akrapovič!The Akrapovič Racing Line full system fits all 2009-2011 Triumph Daytona 675 and Daytona 675R models. Each 675 exhaust includes everything required for installation including clear directions with pictures and all necessary mounting brackets. For those of you that already have an Akrapovič slip-on exhaust, we offer this header-only kit, so you can eliminate that catalytic convertor and exhaust valve for a lighter, more powerful Triumph. The exhaust itself is fabricated entirely in-house at Akrapovič’s facilities in Slovenia with top-grade stainless steel tubing and flawless welds holding it all together.Stainless steel headers feature hydroformed primaries that have no creases anywhere in their complex shape. These improve exhaust scavenging and consequently, increase power output potential.Exhaust spigots are CNC-machined to complement perfectly the OEM D-shaped exhaust ports. The aforementioned fittings are held in place by equally well-made flanges for a secure, leak-free fit against the Triumph’s cylinder head.Primary headers are fitted with crossover pipes to provide a broader spread of power, especially in terms of midrange performance. Notice the smooth welds throughout this Akrapovič exhaust system for the Triumph 675.There’s also a lambda sensor bung fitted so you can take advantage of a self-tuning system like the one from Bazzaz Performance.Akrapovič exhausts are completely CNC-machine bent for a perfect fit and maximum power output performance. Slip-fit joints go together perfectly for a leak-free exhaust system.Akrapovič Racing Line full system exhaust are available in a complete package or as a retrofit for anyone that has already purchased an Akrapovič slip-on exhaust.
