Beegreenstrings Posted September 23, 2011 Report Share Posted September 23, 2011 I am going to do a re-build this winter on my VTX1300C.The neighbor is a manager for U.S. Autocolor and is painting his daughters Bug a Snake skin green color. We talked and if I do the prep time on the parts he will shoot them. He is a excellent painter, and I cant wait to see the end results.I have agreed to the snake skin green with no issues... But frame color. Currently the frame is Black. I was going to send it out to be blasted and have powder done. My dilema. Powder color to make that green pop! In the future the bike will get chrome wheels currently it sits with the factory aluminum which are starting to show their age.I was thinking a silver hammertone of some sort. I did not think the dark grey hammertone would look right...Ideas please. This is what the color of the Tank fenders saddle bags and maybe the little trim peices will be.
