Tokarev ammunition

If any of you guys have a gun that shoots 7.62x25 Tok ammo, you know that the surplus has pretty much dried up. I just got 2 sealed tins of 1950s manufactured Bulgarian stuff. These are 800 round tins, not like the 1280 round polish tins. Neither of them has been opened, and the keys are still intact on both tins to get em open when you need to. Its corrosive, but if you take care of your gun and clean it every time you shoot its no big deal. Besides, thats why you can hand this stuff down to your grandkids if the zombie apocalypse doesnt happen in your lifetime. If you watch it on gunbroker, its like stockpile gold!

$160/tin

Yep its been going up fast. I chrono'd one of those at over 1200 fps. Later cut one open with a dremal, the bullet was lead with steel shell that was plated with copper. The guy who owned it was putting dents in hardened steel targets with it.......... one bad pistol round!
