I gave go pro mass chances to build a solid camera that does not just turn off randomly. THEY ALL DO IT! The contour has taken many many impacts in the 2 years I have ran it. Just this year I had to replace the battery and good as new. The contour GPS is priceless and I can't wait to have one. I have had no experience with the new go pro,but will deff look into it.
