Saacattack
So, my project has begun. I took my fairings off (holy shit those things were dirty!) so I can prep them to get repainted and what not. But I'm also wanting to remove some carbon fiber pieces. Anyone have any suggestions on how to remove these? There is heat adhesive on the inside holding it in place.
jester3681
If they're just glued on to the aluminum, get a set of plastic pry tools - I got mine at Harbor Freight - and pry them off - then you can get the adhesive off off the aluminum with a solvent.
