redkow97
If things work out w/ my job interview on Wednesday, I may be paying DTM a visit this season.Other than an oil/filter change, what maintenance should I consider doing before taking my bike in for a tune?would a valve adjustment be a prudent move? oldschoolsdime92
Wouldn't hurt to check them, but what I have found is that they typically don't need done. If they need done, its a good idea to get them adjusted. How many miles are on the bike ?
SJC1000rr
Make sure your tires up in pressure. (Not race pressure) i think i ran mine at 30-35psi in rear.
ped
Get your grovelling pads replaced. You'll need a fresh set.

It's been re-geared for so long, and my speedometer was covered until i crashed it, so I'm kind of guessing.Maybe more like 12,000?
oldschoolsdime92
I know the Honda maintainance interval is 16k, but track use is certainly harder than street in most cases. Might be worth checking them, but I'm guessing they won't need done. Maybe air filter and spark plugs.Aside from your typical oil change I would say your probably good to go. natedogg624
It's a honda, so depends on how much work you want to do But in all seriousness, I usually do a fresh oil and oil filter change, clean and lube the chain and put on an old scrub tire.
