CBBaron Posted July 5, 2012 Report Share Posted July 5, 2012 The Chardon HS shooting was done with a .22 handgun. Id say it was pretty effective at killing. My thought based on the studies I have read is that a higher powered round with defensive loads will be more likely to disable the BG quicker with few shots. A .22 can still easily kill but a determined BG may not recognize he is dead for several seconds or minutes. Im just confused how cases like this even get to trial.
