buildit
Some video of playing around with the 45-70govnt round and a .38 cal. Kind of cool to see the difference in the guns and ammo. But don't worry no MTN DEW was harmed in the making of this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCr-tmTLt90
Helmutt
Big difference is obvious in the .38's but you basically wasted the 45-70 ammo. We used to have a pair of old British made, trapdoor breached 45-70 rifles that easily blew through a stacked railroad tie backstop and then would trench the hillside behind it at least 3-6 ft long. BIG rifles with serious power for sure. Still cool to see ANYTHING get blown up via gunshots, no matter how mundane:D

The 45-70 is the most powerful rifle I have so that's what I went with. As I said after the first shot, shooting the hollow point seemed pointless, but still loved the water explosion.
