gixxie750
I am going to be safety wiring a budys bike and have never done a whole bike b4. Mine was pre drilled and i just have to replace some i have snipped off for service. I ordered a special clamp to hold the bolt and ordered a pound of wire. Is there any tricks or secrets to making this easy? Does wera still want us to wire the headers? If so any tricks there? looks hard lol. Chrisoh
Buy lots and lots of bits....After the third bit just trying to short drill the oil drain plug I decided I will be paying someone to do it.

attackpainter
You can still use rtv silicone on the header bolts where they meet the motor. If its a full systen saftey wire the collectors together . If you need pics let me know..... Btw Dewalt bits are the best ive found for these
Earache
Have access to a milling machine by any chance? I use 3/32" carbide end mills and mill the holes. Hell of a lot easier than snapping drill bits off all afternoon while using a hand drill and a bench vise. But it's still a tedious and time consuming job.
