Question.... what ever happened to "election day" or absentee? Who started this dumb ass early voting thing? I know it helps the homeless, dead, and nonexistent vote multiple times, but come on!

Who's focused on the military? FOX NEWS... this isn't an "anti-military agenda"

The crux of the issue, why shouldn't everyone be allowed to vote during that time? Why only military? If you're allowed to vote that day, Grandma should be allowed to vote that day, too...

Especially if she died 8 years ago and resides in an empty lot in Columbus with 73 other registered voters. But let's not ask for ID, 'cause that's racist. Not sure why it's racist, but damnit, it is.

so wait, are we for early voting or against it? I'm confused...

or is it only early voting for the military?

do we not want pappy voting alongside major payne?

Personally, totally against all but traditional absentee.

Don't worry about stopping people that shouldn't be voting. Lets focus on the people who serve the country and should have a voice.

No one is trying to deny members of the military their vote.

This is Fox News at it's finest. They are flat out lying. Fox News is lying, and the Republicans quoted in the article are lying.

The Obama campaign is not trying to stop members of the military from voting. They are not trying to change when the members of the military can vote.

What ACTUALLY happened is that (Republican controlled) Ohio reduced early voting for everyone, with the exception of members of the military. Why they did this is a matter of opinion, I suppose, but it doesn't take much thought to figure out why.

The Obama campaign filed a lawsuit to make sure that voting the weekend before the election is available to everyone, since 20% of Ohio voters vote early.

The Romney campaign, The Republicans, and right leaning groups have spun this to mean "Obama wants to block the military from voting early!"

It's despicable, really. The Republicans are using the military as a political football.
