Sad that I'll be coming home tomorrow. This is a Portuguese Man O' War, which is a jellyfish-like critter that's bad news for anyone who happens to come in contact with the tentacles. I had my camera off during my ascent back to the boat and switched it back on to get a few seconds of video as it passed by. I wasn't about to chase after it...the tentacles are almost invisible in the water and can stretch for 20+ feet on larger ones.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBeVfAhAmhUTaken with my iPhone at White Bay on Jost Van Dyke.
