APCh8r
Alright guys so here is my problem. I have a set of plastics and tank that I am working on painting right now. I need to remove the gas cap that is on the tank so I can put the one from my old tank on it so I can use my key. The problem that I am having is I don't have the key for the gas cap that is currently on the tank. I have the ring of the gas cap apart, but the actual center part of the gas lid is still locked on to the inner lip of the gas tank. I was wondering if there is anyway to get this cap off that someone knows besides having to go get a key cut. Thanks in advance, Nick
G's Kawa
Yep you need a key. Only thing I can think of. Sometimes a locksmith may have a master for that model. Take the tank with you. Good luck.
