Anyone know any tricks to dislodge the piston without f*cking anything up? Its stuck pretty good. Thanks in advance! vf1000ride Posted November 29, 2012 Report Share Posted November 29, 2012 If it's seized, compressed air probably won't get it out. I got stuck calipers out with a grease gun. You just need to make an adapter to thread into one of the fluid ports and then pump in grease until the piston comes out. There is also less chance of the piston flying around the room. bshultz0930 Posted November 29, 2012 Report Share Posted November 29, 2012 I think all of the above.. Fill the caliper with a penetrating fluid and then let it soak for a little bit.. Empty it, see if it will come out with air. If not then go to grease.. Dumb question, but are you aware you have to spin that style in?
