Wouldn't the plastic be bio-degradable, and quickly rot away?

edit: oops... Bottles made with Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET or PETE) will never biodegrade.

It can take 1000 years...

These look perfect for my 3rd world shack made from found materials and bazooka Joe bubblegum.

wtf is the point, after you figure your material cost you could buy some solar powered lawn lights at $2 a piece

Uh, these bottle bulbs are for lighting dark places all day, not lighting dark places all night
