I modified the bmw with aesthetic modifications to make it fit an appearance I liked, I added suspension modifications to make it handle to what I enjoy in driving, even daily driving. I modified the rx7 with suspension and tire/wheel modifications to make it be able to carry higher speed in the corners and give more speed coming out. I modified the powertrain/drivetrain to give it more acceleration on the straights. I modified the cooling system (engine and oil) to be able to handle the abuse given on the track. I modified the braking to allow me to brake more effectively after those straights for the result of higher entry speed into a corner. I am adding a cd player w/ bluetooth to increase normal street driving comfort. yea... thats about it...

I think someone is trying to tell me I need to do another intro...My name is Dave and I live in Zanesville...I am retired at this point in my life...I worked at Central Ohio Coal Co. for most of my working life getting to run some equipment with some serious HP...I used to be an avid golfer, until I woke up one morning, went to play and decided I suck now...Bought the Lightning that I have now and spend a lot of time dreaming up what I can do to make it better...I have decided that having more money that I currently have would make that a lot easier...I am also trying to design a workout program that I don't need to leave the recliner for in the winter, the mirror tells me I have a little way to go on that one...I had a lot of neat toys when I was younger: 57 Chevy, 64 GTO, 66 GTO, 65 Sport Fury, 69 Z28, that one hurts that I still don't have it, 69 427 Corvette, 79 L82 Corvette, Firebird Formula, 70 Pro Street Camaro, and now I have a, as my nephew puts it, a f**cking truck...That pretty well brings us up to date in the dull, but I must add extremelly unproductive life of Crewsy...But Much More than that he did it his way!!

I was always interested in going into this field but never did it. I was talking to a friend of mine in Jersey who has a BMW. He is good friends with some of the mechanics and advisors and said they make 80-100k. I was kinda suprised even with the cost of living difference on the East Coast. Anyway my questions are what is the average pay around here at the domestic and foreign non luxury dealers?? I am looking for the normal average type of guy, not the guy who works a million extra hours etc. Also, anybody in the there late twenties or older do you feel like shit every day after working on cars? I am curious because I do stuff on my own cars, but some times feel like shit for days afterwards. I am sore etc cant imagine what it would be like working on them every day. Maybe its just me..
