It's a damn shame that guy didn't do the world a favor and turn your head into a fucking canoe. Let me re-state what's already been clearly pointed out: 1. YOU confronted HIM. Wow, this thread is full of stupid. From everyone involved. First, the problem was between your friend and that dude. Why is it that all the pussies have to come with a gang of friends to confront someone? I had that shit happen to me in high school, and when I'd confront any of them alone in public they'd bitch out. What was you're real reasoning for being there? If someone comes here and posts a cool VW like that, which obviously has history behind it, I'd like to be linked the huge amount of history behind it at the other forum. The owner is obviously a member there and has pics posted so why can't / won't you link us to them? Why did you edit them? If came here and had bought a GTO from another forum, I'd gladly link to the owner who sold it to me so 1. he could fill us in on what's done to it, 2. he could follow it's continued life here, 3. others here may recognize something about it that is important to me and I'd like them to provide said input. OK, very specifically, my Dad has this old Stanley 1/2 ratchet with a rocker-style direction switch. It's the easiest ratchet to switch with your hand deep in the guts of a car. It's also the toughest damn thing I've ever used. Lugnuts, wheel hub nuts, hell, I've had a 4 foot helper pipe on that thing, practically jumping on it, and it isn't even worn. Meanwhile, I've exchanged his 1/2 Craftsman 4 times in about ten years. Gotta love a tough tool...
