Just wanted to introduce myself. Name is Corey and I live in Huber Heights. My ride is a 93 Mustang GT vert. I actually JUST got it running again this week, it underwent a lot of work this winter. List of mods is, :331c.i. 11:1 shortblock. : Fox Lake stage 2 ported Twisted Wedge heads with matching Cam Motion custom grind cam. Trick Flow Track Heat Intake. :150 shot :Richmond built t-5 tranny, Spec stage 3 clutch : Just installed a PA Performance chromoly k-member and a-arms and MMR coil-overs I obviously haven't had it to the track with this set-up yet, but with my old set-up which was a stock short block, stock cam and AFR 185 heads and stock suspension, it went a 11.47 @ 114 on spray. So it should run a bit better now. Here is a crappy cell phone pic I took until i can get some better ones up. Greetings speed freaks and freakettes! I actually used to run amok with a number of you but went inactive a few years back when I had to sell off my 'Stang and move back north. I still know a few people here, including a cousin who joined after I went AFK. (Notice how I don't actually claim him by name... LOL) You will know him by his WRX and his WOW. I also run into a few other members on occasion like a certain OBGYN, and I could never forget Anthony's taillights. (all I ever really got a good look at on this Pontiac...) Mostly I come begging back at the CR door because I have moved back inside I270 at last, and though I still do not have a respectable race car, I have found a new hobby (and probable cause of death) in riding motorcycles. My bike is nothing fancy, but I bought two junkers and with two weeks time, grease and no shortage of burns and spilled blood I now ride about on a (mostly) restored old '78 GS550. (plus I have a lovely ornament in my back yard which closely resembles a cannibalized Suzuki parts bike....) I know I will catch shit for the 550cc displacement, but at least on this forum I should catch more love for the rice than most.... Lastly, I am an emotional masochist and just love to have abuse heaped upon me, so I naturally gravitate toward the unique CR brand of vicious love. I await your verbal abuse and I forgive Thorne in advance for his lack of wit. Hi guys. Marty here, but people call me "Doc." I've just discovered the Columbus racing scene and am new to autocross and tuner cars. I'd been looking for a suitable All Trac donor to make mods to. I'm an SCCA member and this summer started working on the pit crew of Boston-based Flatout Motorsports when they race at Mid-Ohio, IT and ST. I've got a two cars I've had a Sonic, much better cars than I am a driver. The Lotus is an '07 that I bought new at MAG three months ago. This weekend it got an ECU upgrade (lowers cam engagement) and a performance exhaust.... much improved now. The Merc is an '05 that I just drove up from Florida. It's an SL600 with RENNtech package 1, with a claimed 625 hp at the crank, 750 ft/lbs, 11.5 s. At least now I can get a back massage while the Cobalts pull away from me. I've got photos to post, if you want, but am having problems posting currently. Problem fixed. What's going on. Posting the introduction. This site seems like a good way to meet like minded people. I'm in the middle of a turbo LS/Vtec build for my integra which should hopefully be done in a month or so. This has been an ongoing pain in my ass for over a year with lots of ups and downs with it. Hopefully I'm doing it the right way this time. This is the first car I've ever really modded or done anything to. I got into it because when I bought the car a couple years ago, everybody wanted to race my lowly stock Non vtec integra. Sucks either having to back down or loose races all the time. I eventually got pissed about it and bought a turbo kit and have since been hooked. Ironicly, when I bought the car it was to save gas, which now, it does anything but save gas. Owell. Im having a huge party on July 12th in the Reynoldsburg/Pickerington area. We have one every month, and I decided to open it up to everyone on CR. We normaly have about 40-50 people and 2 kegs and we kill those in time for a beer run. So im planing on getting 3 if i et a good response to this. Yes Lingenfelter builds corvettes everyday but I dont know of anyone in Columbus who has a 427 tt now. If you read from the beginning you will see I was only defending myself. You have been on here long enough to know the oven is hot and im a guy who can handle the heat!!! As I have said before im just another guy on here im not saying im better than anybody else.
