Hello Everyone! My name is Ian, i'm a Columbus native currently living in the Quad-Cities area in Illinois and Iowa. I'm here for work, working at the Rock Island Arsenal for the U.S. Army. I do make it back home to Columbus once a month or so. http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/5959/image051el0.jpg I'm 26 and have been wrenching on cars since I was big enough to pick up a wrench. I always change my own oil and find it to be the measure of a real man. http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/8594/image048bi6.jpg I don't currently have a "real" sports car, though I'm saving all of my extra nickels to buy a C5 Z06 next spring/summer. Currently my daily driver is a 2005 Cadillac STS Northstar V8 (good for long drives and traveling). I also have two Hondas (which I don't consider sports cars for the record)...a 95 Del Sol and a 94 Prelude. They're fun to play with, and cheap to work on (and to destroy...I'm not out a lot of cash), but not a true sports car. At any rate, I'm new here and a car nut, so this place seemed like a natural fit. http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/8514/image049jk3.jpg My past vehicles include an 85 four-banger Mustang (my first car), an 87 Mustang 5.0 GT with factory T-Tops, 01 Volkswagen Jetta VR6, an 89 Pontiac Firebird, an 88 Chevy S-10, 91 Acura Integra, 94 3000GT SL, 94 Honda Prelude, 95 Honda Del Sol, and an 05 Chevy Trailblazer. http://img523.imageshack.us/img523/7467/image047sp6.jpg Next up, a late-model Chevrolet Corvette C5 Z06, manual, possibly in black or dark blue. I'm partial to the Le Mans Commemorative Edition...but i'm looking for a car I can mod heavily and drive the wheels off of while not worrying about it being a collectible, so maybe not so much the Le Mans. http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/9863/oscarmeyercadillacav4.jpg3 points

Hi my name is Drew, I am from the Dayton area, and like the other guy mentioned there is a lot of rice in this area, hell a lot of people consider me rice, there are also a lot of nice cars. Anyhow, I have an '03 Nissan 350Z Touring that I bought a year ago, after I sold my 1990 300ZX Twin Turbo. I have not done a whole lot to it as I am getting married in September, and yea, well you all know how that goes. I have however mentioned to get 20" Volk GTC's, Tanabe lowering springs, Nismo CAI, and Pioneer Avic Z2 Navi. Enough talking here are some pics. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3117/2556712806_933cf8901b.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2387/2356765824_7b0be5080e.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3072/2356765420_bd922b9591.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3085/2356761808_c2d39793a5.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2027/1637767034_5f32d27013.jpg My old Z http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2303/1637765242_0ba14c88f3_o.jpg _______________________________________- http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3085/2356761808_c2d39793a5.jpg2 points

And I'm making a real life movie about it!!!! (Play this in the background while you read it ) "To the naked eye it looked like a typical Saturday. Kids were playing, the sun was shining and the city of Columbus was peaceful. Little did they know that something happened earlier in the day that would soon bring this quite town into a frenzy. On one lone message board hell was about to break lose!!! The post read... "Who owns your streets!?!?!?!!". This caused an uproar of the best racers Columbus has to offer. As dawn set, over 1000 cars began to make their treck up north to "the spot". The powerful rumble of the beastly cars left cracks in the pavement as they passed by. The sillouette of freshly waxed machinery left spectators breathless and in denial of the epic event they would soon witness. Suddenly there was a decrease in speed, and the once loud engines seemed to hush themselves. Bob Shiftwright removed his hand from the shift knob and reached for the middle of his steering wheel. Pushing the steering wheel with force caused a sound from the cars horn that could be heard from miles away. This was a warning to get ready. Hands gripped stearing wheels... Feet went into position on pedals to mimic the speeds of those near. As the second beep of the horn echoed in the horizon everyone became tense. Sweat could be seen forming on brows as teeth were grinding, and shifters were placed firmly in palms. The suspense built, racers went through the next 30 seconds over and over again in their heads in preparation. Then it happened... The THIRD HONK!!!!!" The Third Honk coming soon to a theater near you.1 point

I'm working on a mod list but with school and work it's hard to find time to even work on the car haha. We should be around 400hp at 10psi. If we decide to up it to 12psi then output should be around 485hp.1 point

Hi my name is jordan. Im posting this because I was told my picture was taken off my myspace ""Which was a joke"", and posted on here In the kitchen forum and is now being criticized, I guess Im also known on here to have the ugliest s2000 in columbus:P haha. Well i just wanted to say hi to everyone. I really dont know what was so offensive about my car that made so many people actually have to go out of their way and talk shit about someone they have never met before. Pretty immature in my opinion but oh well. Yes I am the guy in this picture. No i did not originally post it on this board. and if you look in the second picture I am wearing hollister flip flops = not in the slightest thuggish one bit;P http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c74/D1SKOOLBUS/DSC_0577.jpg The picture was actually taken a day after my other car was stolen a few weeks ago. Yes I do have a "PINK" gun in the picture, Yes it is a real .38 caliber, No I dont care its pink, Yes I bought it because I live in a rough neigborhood and my civic was just stolen and stripped, No I don't care about how you portray me as trying to be a "e-thug" In the picture, but yes I was actually pissed in this picture because my car was just stolen the day prior:P, The picture is actually being used for my friends cd artwork , so whatever about the picture haha seriously people. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c74/D1SKOOLBUS/DSC_0389_edited.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c74/D1SKOOLBUS/Picture801.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c74/D1SKOOLBUS/n899115009_3241484_5995.jpg Now back to the topic on racing, Yes I love racing, Road racing/drifting. I got into a harmless little race yesterday for fun and now it turned into a 5 page shit talk for who knows what reason. The post saying it was me I talked to him, but didnt not write all the stuff said, The Mod in the white Sti beat me and i gave him a thumbs up, that was that, " I was actually expecting on getting beat a little worse then I was:P". But If anyone really feels the need to contact me and let me know how offensive my S2000 is to them, How much of a internet E-Thug you think I am....Seriously do it. hahah I dont care man I thought this place was to talk about racing not trash anyone and everything you can. If anyone on here would actually want to talk about racing Im all ears0 points

I'm posting because I just read all of this babble and feel I deserve it. First, Brian owned this thread with his black Stig picture. *applause* Second, I've always been an advocate of the position that it's your money and your car, so do with it what you want. So, you have a lot of stuff on your S2000. Not exactly my style, but, then again, it's not exactly my car, either. To each their own as far as I'm concerned. Third, the pic with you and the gun is a lightning rod for criticism. Yes, I can appreciate posing in a particular style for artistic and aesthetic appeal, and, yes, I can even appreciate looking completely chachi in the process. However, at least around here, pictures like that will usually bring more criticism than compliments, as you've likely learned. Bravo for having the balls to post it, but more of the same will likely draw the ire of this board.0 points

Well, you've certainly seen the rough side of CR and you're still around. I'm sure you have a hell of a hole of negative rep to climb out of though. From the pictures the car looks to be well done in workmanship and not with cheap ass parts. Looks good, hope to see you at the track sometime. Hal....I'll be your Huckleberry for the nelson bet....how about we bet the installation of the transmission in my FD?0 points

Who are you having the tune done with? I heard there was a very good vette shop in columbus...0 points
