The Basics: 1985 Porsche 911 Targa 3.2 Flat 6 ~215 HP before project After turbo install we should be around 400 crank HP on a conservative tune. Picture of the car before we started http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii8/rickychipka/TURBO%20BUILD/P1000310.jpg Pictures of the GT30r kit... http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii8/rickychipka/TURBO%20BUILD/P1000306.jpg http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii8/rickychipka/TURBO%20BUILD/P1000308.jpg http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii8/rickychipka/TURBO%20BUILD/P1000307.jpg _________________________________________________________________ http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii8/rickychipka/TURBO%20BUILD/P1000316.jpg Engine is out. http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii8/rickychipka/TURBO%20BUILD/P1000315.jpg Exhaust and other components off. http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii8/rickychipka/TURBO%20BUILD/P1000317.jpg Engine is on stand. Everything came apart smoothly. http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii8/rickychipka/TURBO%20BUILD/DSC01293.jpg Cam towers removed. http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii8/rickychipka/TURBO%20BUILD/DSC01294.jpg Case after towers are removed. http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii8/rickychipka/TURBO%20BUILD/DSC01303.jpg Pistons, cylinders and heads removed. We ran out of time on Sunday and this is where we're at right now. Next is to to pull the head studs and split the case. The plan is to send the cylinders, heads, pistons, and rods to get checked out so we won't have any big problems after we get it all back in. Head studs and valves & springs are being replaced as well. In summary, this breakdown has gone pretty flawlessly. Save for one bolt we had to burn off the testpipe, everything came apart nicely. I'll try and take pictures of the rest of the breakdown and also when we start to put it all back together which I hope shouldn't be too long. Cheers! :wavey:1 point

Nope, but at least we're not stupid enough to brag about it, dare the legal system, and make a fucking public display of it every chance we get. You think me getting called out EVERY time I was out, whether it be a pussy, no balls, etc. really made me wanna go fuck myself even more? No. I had the common sense to reserve myself and hold back because I knew better. Yet I was the pussy for doing it. We all speed, we all run red lights, we all get into spirited driving. As a wise man once said, "You cant be cocky and boastful about never getting caught, and brag openly about it. Then, when you do get caught, you can't beg for privacy." I'm probably more pissed because he wouldn't listen to me and take my advice. Everyone KNEW this was coming after George died, but I guess some people were too ignorant to realize it. What the fuck is it gonna take? Now you know why I've been to four track events this year, more in the last six months than I've been to in two years combined. I hope he learns from this, and maybe people like me aren't just talking out of our asses.0 points

And I'm making a real life movie about it!!!! (Play this in the background while you read it ) "To the naked eye it looked like a typical Saturday. Kids were playing, the sun was shining and the city of Columbus was peaceful. Little did they know that something happened earlier in the day that would soon bring this quite town into a frenzy. On one lone message board hell was about to break lose!!! The post read... "Who owns your streets!?!?!?!!". This caused an uproar of the best racers Columbus has to offer. As dawn set, over 1000 cars began to make their treck up north to "the spot". The powerful rumble of the beastly cars left cracks in the pavement as they passed by. The sillouette of freshly waxed machinery left spectators breathless and in denial of the epic event they would soon witness. Suddenly there was a decrease in speed, and the once loud engines seemed to hush themselves. Bob Shiftwright removed his hand from the shift knob and reached for the middle of his steering wheel. Pushing the steering wheel with force caused a sound from the cars horn that could be heard from miles away. This was a warning to get ready. Hands gripped stearing wheels... Feet went into position on pedals to mimic the speeds of those near. As the second beep of the horn echoed in the horizon everyone became tense. Sweat could be seen forming on brows as teeth were grinding, and shifters were placed firmly in palms. The suspense built, racers went through the next 30 seconds over and over again in their heads in preparation. Then it happened... The THIRD HONK!!!!!" The Third Honk coming soon to a theater near you.0 points
